Gen Con 09: ENnie Award Winners

The Gen Con EN World RPG Awards (or ENnies, for short) celebrate the best in tabletop gaming, by awarding developers and publishers alike for their work in the fields of RPGs and miniatures, and even online podcasts and electronic books.

The 9th Annual ENnies were held on August 14th, and in preparation for the ceremony, yours truly had a chance to talk with a few past winners to find out just where they show off their achievements.

Shelly Mazzanoble, author of Confessions of a Part-Time Sorceress, and last year’s Gold ENnie winner of Best Regalia (the category that celebrates all “other” forms of media, that don’t quite fit elsewhere) has her medal hanging on the door-knob of her living room closet – within eyeshot of all who enter her humble abode, and a perfect cosplaying accessory for those who wish to relish in her same glory.

While Mazzanoble takes a more playful approach with her ENnie, Tom Tullis of Fat Dragon Games, two-time winner of the Silver Best Miniatures Product award, takes a more traditional approach by displaying his two ENnies in his office, draped around the necks of two McFarland Dragon statues.

But where will this year’s winners, posted below for your reading pleasure, display their ENnies? Only time will tell.
