Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery contains all three Frog Detective cases: The Haunted Island, The Case of the Invisible Wizard and Corruption at Cowboy County. These are fairly straightforward 3D adventure games with a good dose of humor, but should you feel a little stuck, here is a walkthrough for all three cases. The golden rule: be sure to talk to everyone about everything!
Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island
Pick up the phone when it rings. After the conversation, take the magnifying glass from the table (Achievement: Picked it up). Leave.
When you get to the beach, turn around and get back in the boat (Achievement: Tried to leave).
Along the left side of the shore, speak with Larry the Lobster about explosives. Go into the forest area and talk to Mo, the Mouse about the dance competition. Go to the beach and speak with MM the Monkey. Return to Mo, talk about dance styles and get the mouthwash. While in this area, pick up the broom. Talk to Martin the Monkey about his nerves to get a chunk of gold.
Leave the forest, walk to the left and speak with Noodle the Sheep. Give him the broom and take the wool. Take the magnet from the table nearby.
Go to the Koala on the water and exchange the magnet for a big shell. Go back to the forest and speak with Orbit the Duck. Give him the big shell to receive a magnifying glass.
Speak with Bernie the Bear (next to Larry) and trade the magnifying glass for the pasta.
Go past where Larry was, behind the rocks, and talk to Fresh X, the Crocodile. Give him the mouthwash and obtain toothpaste. You now have all four items for the explosives (Achievement: Hustled Hard). Talk to Larry.
Inside the cave, walk all the way to the other end. Speak with Finley (Achievement: Got Spooked).
After the credits, pick the dance competition winner (Achievement: Picked a Winner).
Back in the office, pick up the phone once it rings (Achievement: Answered the Call).
Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard
Pick up the phone and take the magnifying glass. Open the door and speak with Lobster Cop. In the room to the right, interact with the notebook on the table and use a bunch of stickers on it. (Achievement: Sticky)
Once you get to the woods, walk around and find 3 lost pies. Some can respawn in different places and you can actually obtain 5, but the locations are: in the flower pots by Mary’s house; on top of the lamp on the path you came from; against the right side of the stage; on the shop floor, under the table with framed photos; on the floor in front of Victor.
Victor is on the right side, around the bend, inside the hot tub. Talk to him, get 1 money. Offer him the lost pie that was on floor next to him (Achievement: Gross).
Talk to all the characters, leaving the ones in the center for last. Susan (the cat), Ralph (the lion with eyepatch), Carlos (the zebra shopkeeper), Mary (the rhino who tries to extort you), and then Noddy on the stage. Finally, talk to Mandy who is standing behind the food stall with a pie on it. If you don’t have 5 pies yet, look around for respawns. Give Mandy all pies to get a fresh pie and 1 money.
Go back to Victor and give him the fresh pie. Receive a party hat and 1 money. Go to Carlos and give him the party hat to get a rug. Talk to Noddy and give her the rug, receive 1 money and building tools. Give the building tools to Ralph to get 1 money and a hook. Take the hook to Susan to fix her sign, and you will be able to access her house.
Go back to Carlos and try to purchase the $3 dog photo (Achievement: Big Spender). Now talk to Mary and give her the 5 money to get a Mysterious Phone Number. Use the phone in Susan’s house to call this number. When the conversation ends, leave the house, turn right and pick up the glasses on the floor, near the path you arrived from.
You should now have all character entries (Victor, Susan, Ralph, Carlos, Mary, Noddy, Mandy, Barney), all pages with checkmarks for completing their quests, and a final page with a photo of Grace Bruxner (Achievement: Expert Investigator).
Enter the house between Carlos’ shop and Victor’s house. Inside, you need to find the wizard three times. Each time, the wizard will disappear and teleport. After a third time, the door will open. Go through and walk downstairs, talk to the wizard.
You have two options here: tell people the truth (Achievement: Snitch) or lie and say the Evil Guy did it (Achievement: Fibber). To save yourself from playing from the beginning, close the game once the achievement unlocks. Go back to the menu and press Left Shift, L and 4 simultaneously. The game will continue from before you made the choice, and you can get your last achievement.
Frog Detective 3: Corruption at Cowboy County
Pick up the phone and take the magnifying glass before heading out the door. After the train ride, answer the phone in the booth, and ride the scooter into town (Achivement: Made it to Town).
After speaking to Larry, go down the main road towards the church on the hill. Go around the right side, up the ramp, and while riding your scooter, try to jump over the fence while coming downhill. You can’t get in, but proximity will eventually give you (Achievement: Graveyard Break In).
Walk into the saloon and speak with Bonnie at the counter about the haunted photos. Inspect all the photos on the wall. Take the haunted photo. Talk to Bonnie again to learn about a stew recipe that needs carrots and cactus flowers. Now talk to Pistol (the panda) about photos and a muse. Give him the haunted photo (Achievement: Haunted Photo). Go upstairs, outside to the balcony. Talk to Dusty (the koala) and ask about the perfect cowboy poem. Help him with some rhymes and get a writing set.
SPOILER: If you want to skip to the final 3 achievements now, highlight this paragraph.
Hold Left Shift+L at the main menu. Select “Sad Ending – Scene Start” to get Bad Room. Select “Monkey Explores Office – Scene Start” to get Monkey. Walk down the hallway into the green door, pick up the blue powder on the table, and use it on the photos on the wall at the opposite end of the hallway to get Kiss.
Jump down and walk into the shop next to the Saloon. Interact with the carrots to buy some. Talk to Wendy, the shopkeeper, to learn she would like a portrait done and to get a bear pic. Go next door into the Post Office and talk to Craig about the Ghost Spotters League and secret societies, then give him the ghost pic. Receive pickaxe.
Go across the road and talk to Susy (the rabbit) in front of the bank, she turns her back on you. Walk into the Sheriff’s Office next door and take the green gloves from the table. Talk to the Sheriff. Go talk to Susy again, ask about the vault and the map. Go talk to the Sheriff again to complete his journal entry.
Leave the Sheriff’s Office, turn right and inspect the town map. Talk to Rhonda (the mouse) about the sheriff and her job. Give her the writing supplies and ask about a fake ID. Go towards the graveyard, turn left and go up the hill to meet Sherman. Talk about the Sheriff and the mine. Give him the pickaxe and receive a shovel.
Cactus flowers can be found at these locations: between the saloon and the graveyard; by the town entrance; on the plateau near the well; before getting to Sherman on the hill; and through a narrow passage that you need to jump to from the plateau behind the Post Office, while riding your scooter. You can’t pick them while riding. Collect four and go back to the Saloon.
Give Bonnie the carrots and cactus flowers to get stew. Talk to Pistol and show him the bear pic, receive a portrait of Wendy. Go next door and give Wendy the portrait. Receive ladder. Go back to Susy, give her the fake ID and get a crime map in return. Now ride to the well, and use the ladder to get down. Pick up the key and climb out.
Talk to Larry and give him the key, shovel, crime map and stew. Open the lock on the graveyard gate and go behind the church to dig up the hats. Go back down towards the town meeting and watch the story unfold (Achievement: Bad Room). After seeing the Detective’s post, you take over a new character (Achievement: Monkey).
Once you can play as Mystery Monkey, take the clue detecting powder (blue tin) from the table and walk to the photos on the wall. Use the powder on all of them until you reveal the lipstick marks (Achievement: Kiss). Walk into Larry’s office and inspect the desk.
In town, talk to the people outside the barn. Go into the Sheriff’s Office and talk to the Detective to watch the rest of the story. Once back in your office, pick up the phone, go to the room next to yours, talk to the monkey and enter the room down the hallway to finish your adventure.
