Case 4: In Your Eyes
Go to Dr. Bandereet’s House. Talk to Mrs. Bandereet about the time her husband went to bed, being vision impaired, if she heard anything unusual, physical contact. Swab the bloody stain on her clothes. Talk to her again and ask if the door was locked and if anyone had reason to harm her husband.
Look at the table next to Mrs. Bandereet for a TP. Turn left and look at the answering machine. Turn right, zoom in on the fireplace and pick up the bug on the firewood. Turn right and look at the stairs. Zoom in on the footprint and use the camera to take a photo. Go upstairs. Turn left and look at the bloody print on the wall. Use the adhesive lifting tape on it. Turn right and walk down the hall. Use the gloves to take the fireplace poker. Use the LCV on it (you need to spray a lot) and then swab it. Turn it until you see the print on the handle. Use the fingerprint brush & handle and adhesive tape to lift the print. Inspect the flowers at the end of the hallway for a TP.
Turn left and enter the bedroom. click on the wall to the left and take a photo of the blood spatter. Turn left some more and the camera pans up. Take a photo of the spatter on the ceiling. Look at the nightstand and pick up the broken cup. Click on the nightstand again and swab the liquid. Click on the victim and zoom in, use the camera to take a picture. Use a swab on the blood stain on the pillow. Turn right and zoom in on the exercise bike. Inspect the closet for a TP. Back up and look at the photos on the dresser for another TP. Go back downstairs and talk to Amita about the answering machine and her shoe size. She gives you her slippers. Flip them so you can see the bottom, and use an adhesive mount to get residue.
Go to the Morgue. Talk to Dr. Robbins and ask him to recover the body. Ask about cause of death and tox report. Examine the victim’s head.
Go to the Lab. Use the Assembly Table to put the broken cup back together. In Trace Analysis, compare the fingerprint from the fire poker with the Civil Search Record A. Drag the partial print to the bottom left quadrant. In Shoe Prints/Tire Treads compare the bloody footprint with Amita’s slippers to get a match. Use the DNA Database to compare Dr. Bandereet’s DNA with the blood from the fire poker. Then compare the blood from Amita’s clothes with Dr. Bandereet’s DNA and with the blood from the fire poker. Use the Chemical Analysis to examine the liquid from the cup and residue from the slipper.
Go back to Dr. Bandereet’s House and talk to Amita. Ask her if she left the house after finding her husband. Ask about Aadarsh Diwan, and if he owns a car. Use the PDA to go to the driveway. Inspect the manhole to find a bug. Turn left and zoom in on the dumpster. Inspect the red fragments and use the gloves to pick them up. Move to the right and inspect the right side of the dumpster to get a TP. Back up and click on the cactus to the left of the dumpster for another TP. Turn left some more and inspect the door to the house and the fire hydrant for another two TPs. Zoom in on the tire tracks. Use the cast & frame to get the tire tread. Inspect the blood drops on the driveway in front of the garage door. Spray them with the LCV and use a swab on them.
Go to Brass’ Office. Ask if the victim had prescription for sleeping aid and if he can find his business partner. Go to the Morgue and ask about the head wound.
Go to the Lab. Use the Trace Analysis Computer to compare thr tire tracks with CSI Sample Search Result A. In the DNA Database compare the blood from the driveway with Dr. Bandereet’s DNA.
Go back to the driveway. Inspect the garbage can. Use the gloves to take the tape. Go back to the Lab. Use Trace Analysis Audio to play the tape.
Go back to Dr. Bandereet’s House and talk to Amita about the tape in the trash, her daughter and where to find her. Go to Adya’s house and talk to her about marrying, stealing, and ask if you can look around. Brass calls with some information and you get a questioning warrant for Aadarsh Diwan. Turn left and face the door. Click the footprint on the floor. Use the camera to take a picture.
Go to the CSI Garage. Turn right and face the front of the car, there’s a bug on it. Turn left and inspect the tail light behind Greg. Pick it up with the gloves. Go to the Lab. Use Trace Analysis Shoe Prints/Tire Treads to compare the muddy footprint with Amita’s slippers. On the Assembly Table put the pieces of the broken tail light back together.
Go to Brass’ Office and ask for a search warrant for Adya’s home. Ask for another for Aadarsh Diwan. Go back to the garage. Click on the front seat area and use the gloves to pick up the memo on the floor. Click on the back seat area, click on the computer and use the USB data drive on it to get Dr. Diwan’s files. Turn around to the left, past Greg and look at the trunk of the car.
Go to Adya’s house. Get her fingerprint. Inspect the fruit bowl on the counter for a TP. Turn left and click on the dark area. Click on the boxes to the left to find a bug. Back up and turn left. Inspect Adya’s desk and use the USB data drive on the laptop to get more files. Look at the painting above the desk for a TP.Turn right and inspect the chair leg. Use the gloves to get a piece of fabric and use the adhesive mount on it to collect residue. Turn left and inspect the sink. Use luminol on it then swab it. Turn left and inspect the corner of the counter for a TP.
Go to the Lab. use Trace Analysis to compare bloody fingerprint with Adya’s fingerprints. In Special Search, analyze Adya’s and Dr. Bandereet’s encrypted files. In the DNA Database compare the blood from Adya’s sink with Dr. Bandereet’s DNA. Use Chemical Analysis to analyze the residue from the fabric.
Go to the Pool House. Inspect the marks on the window to the right of the door. Use the mikrosil to get an impression. Zoom in on the door and use the LCV on it, then swab it. Zoom in on the bucket past the door and turn left. Use the adhesive mount to get some residue. Inspect the hammock to get another bug.
Go to the Lab. In Chemical Analysis, check out the residue from the Pool House. Go to Brass’ Office and ask about Mr. Diwan’s fraud. Ask for a questioning warrant for Adya.
In the interrogation room, talk to Adya about blood in the sink and her mother’s blindess. Go back to Brass’ Office and ask to talk with the business partner. In the interrogation room ask Aadarsh about his vehicle, vaccum cleaner, prints on the fire poker, the memo from Adya, fraud, being his son-in-law, where he was between 7 and 9, and his vehicle at the victim’s home.
Go back to the garage. Zoom in on the trunk, open the toolbox and inspect the vaccum cleaner. Use the gloves to get the tank.
Go back to Dr. Bandereet’s House and talk to Amita. Mention the scratch marks on the pool house, ask if her daughter was angry, how she lost her eyesight, Dr. Diwan visiting, any tension between him and her husband.
Go back to the Lab. Use the Assembly Table to remove the rubbish from the vaccum cleaner piece by piece until you see a little piece of ceramic. Drag it out and place it into the empty spot on the tea cup. Use the DNA Database to compare the blood from the pool house with Dr. Bandereet’s DNA.
Go back to the interrogation room and talk to Aadarsh about being at the scene, his fingerprint on the murder weapon and suspecting Adya.
Go to the Morgue and ask Dr. Robbins about Amita being partially blind and eye surgery. Go to Brass’ Office and get a search warrant for the Bandereet’s pool house.
Go back to the pool house. Click on the door to get in. Look at the daybed for a TP. Turn right and look at the crossword puzzle on the table. Turn left and check the counter. Use the gloves to pick up a screwdriver. Inspect the sink for a TP. Go into the bathroom and remove the drain in the shower. Use the gloves to pick up the silk robe and swab the blood stain on it.
Go back to the lab. Compare the piece of torn fabric from Adya’s house with the silk robe under the Microscope. Now compare the screwdriver with the impression from the pool house. Use the DNA Database to compare the blood from the robe with Dr. Bandereet’s DNA.
Go to Brass’ Office and get a questioning warrant for Amita Bandereet. In the interrogation room, ask her if she admits to the murder. After the cutscene, ask Adya if there is something else she wants to tell you.
Go back to Dr. Bandereet’s house. Go upstairs into the bedroom for a cutscene. Go to the pool house and turn right, use the gloves to pick up the crossword puzzle.
Go back to the lab. Use the Trace Analysis Special to analyze the crossword puzzle.
Go to the interrogation room and talk to Adya. Ask her to withdraw her confession. Talk to Brass and ask to interrogate Amita again.
