Miner Profession

The Miner goes into the underground mines and digs up metals to use for jewelry (via the Jeweler profession) and weapon crafting (via the various smithing professions). To learn mining, talk to Chipo Atufe in Astrub (9,-23) or to Casper Van Brushing in the building at (-1,5). You will need a pickaxe to mine metals. You can ask Casper about the pickaxes and he will ask you to bring him 10 units of Elm wood in exchange for a pickaxe. Or, you can just buy one from him for 150 kamas (which is MUCH easier, unless you happen to find Elm on a merchant for cheap!).
Miner Polishers and Melters can be found at (-2,-3), (-1,5), (0,33), (3,29) and (7,-20), where you see a cauldron icon on the map. |
