EMOTES

Dofus has several emotes to enhance your interactions with other players. Emotes can be obtained through quests, purchased, from loot drops, as dungeon rewards, by earning achievements, even by equipping certain items. Here you will find where and how to get the different emote commands.

Sit Emote (/sit)

At the end of the tutorial, when you talk to Tarazed, choose “pass the test”. Then answer the questions in this order:

  • No, I refuse.
  • What can I do for you.
  • I ignore him.

You now have the sit emote, which you use to recover your HP.

Bow Emote (/hi)

Your character takes a bow to greet someone. This emote is a reward for finishing the Blacksmith’s Dungeon located at (14,20). The key to the dungeon can drop from Dark Miners, Dark Bakers, and Dark Smiths.

Point Emote (/point)

You learn the point emote by activating a “Scroll: Point your Finger”. The scroll is a reward for finishing the Pandikaze Dungeon, located at (18,-36). To get in the dungeon you need the Pandikaze Key, which can drop from Pandikaze Ghosts.

Fart Emote (/oups)

You learn this hilarious emote by activating a “Parchment of Wind of Panic”. This parchment drops from Crocodyl in the swamp, at (-4,12). You can also find Crocodyl in other swamp areas.

Afraid Emote (/fear)

This emote shows your character crouching and covering his/her hand. Go to (19,24) and you will need to solve the puzzle. Your goal is to reach the small dock on the far left side of the screen. When you step on the left corner of the dock, a platform will rise from the water. Cross to the far left corner as fast as you can, and another platform will rise. Step across into land. The next exit is invisible, but easy to find, so just walk up a bit and you should find it. Enter the temple to find a glowing statue. Click the statue to obtain the emote.

Kiss Emote (/kiss)

First, you need a Crab Pincer, which you can get by killing Crabs in the Harbor area. Once you have one, go to (1,0) and talk to Don Ruann. He has a task for you, he will ask you to get something from the sea, which is the pincer. Give him the pincer (it says grip on the text), then declare yourself ready.

To his first question, answer “Declare this question as stupid.”

To his second question, answer “That depends.”

To his third and final question, answer “According to the day, the context, the couple?”

Now tell him you’re ready for the last contest.

Here’s the tricky part: now you have to wait until your clock hits midnight. The clock is in the same spot the artwork or compass is showing. When it shows 00:00 (around 7pm EST) talk to Don Ruann again. Pick “Learn the secret” and you will obtain the Kiss emote.

Rock Paper Scissors Emote (/Pfc1 /Pfc2 /Pfc3)

This is a bit of a pickle, so here is a step by step walkthrough for the quest.

  • Kill boars until you get one hazel.
  • Go to the library at (4,1) and buy the book entitled Secrets of the Squirrel Language.
  • Go to (5,21) and talk to Sight Squirrel, who is usually hiding behind trees.
  • In the first question, pick the only answer available. For the second question, pick “Dinnik ik nisitik”. The third question only has one answer as well.
  • Give the hazel to the Squirrel to gain Perception (you will see it on your screen) and go to Grizmine at (2,-1) in the second floor of the tavern. Don?t get into a fight or you will lose Perception, and will have to go back, get another hazel and repeat the Squirrel conversation.
  • Play Rock Paper Scissors with Grizmine and win three times in a row. Each game costs 10 kamas but you can?t win without Perception!.

Applaud Emote (/appl)

The applauding animation shows your character clapping his/her hands over his/her head. To get it, you need to take 9 players with you and solve a puzzle.

Head to (-2,-6). The switch is a cliff nearby, and can be accessed through the cave. However, the person activating the witch will not be able to enter the cave with the rest, so you will need a 10th person to stand on the switch.

There are two rooms to the puzzle. The first room requires 5 people to stand on the switches at the same time while another pulls the lever. In the second room you need 9 people to stand on the switches in a cross pattern (see image) and then pull the lever. This will open the last room, where you will find a statue. Click on it to receive your applause emote.

Wave Goodbye Emote (/bye)

Head to (4,1) with another 6 players. There are three rooms to go through before you can get your emote. In the first room, go down the stairs. In the second room, one person has to stand on each of the six tiles so you can pull the lever. In the third room, one person has to stand on each of the six blank tiles, then you can pull the lever. This opens up the final room, where clicking the glowing statue gives you the wave goodbye emote.

Angry Emote (/appl)

The angry animation shows your character shaking his fist at someone.

Head to (-6,24) with six other players and step on the switch outside the cave. The door closes rather quick, so run to it as soon as it opens.

In the first room, one person must stand on each of the six tiles, then pull the lever. Take note of the position of the tiles, you need it for the second room.
In the second room, you need to repeat the pattern of the first room, with one person on each tile (see image), then pull the lever. The last room has the glowing statue that gives you this emote.

Cross Arms (/cross)

Crossing your arms is another puzzle-solver quest. You will need nine players to go with you.
Go to (10,-24) and stand on the black and white tile to open the entrance to the cave. Inside, you will see a 9×9 grid with some numbers on it. If you?re familiar with Sudoku puzzles, you will recognize one right here. Basically, what you need to do is solve the Sudoku puzzle and have each players stand on each of the tiles where the number 9 would be. Pull the lever, enter the next room and claim your emote from the glowing statue.

If you don’t know how to solve Sudoku puzzles, just look at the image below for the solution.
